Every mobile grandstand is built from BÜTEC Standard or Compact platforms: 750 kg/m² distributed load, TÜV GS-tested, only approx. 95 mm high in storage. Standing or seated, indoors or outdoors – you decide the shape, the height and the seats.

Benefits
One platform system, any grandstand shape
Shaped to your room
Straight, angled, curved, with an upper tier or with space underneath: because the grandstand is made of single platforms, it follows your floor plan.
Any seat fits
From theatre chairs, stacking chairs and benches to light plastic seat shells. Without seats, the grandstand becomes a standing terrace.
Accessories without drilling
The compact corner has standard threads at every corner. Seats, benches and railings are fixed firmly with standard screws.
Indoors and outdoors
In the sports hall, beside the football pitch, along the running track or at an outdoor event. For outdoor use there are hardwood benches and UV-protected seat shells.
Matched to the room
Aluminium frames and decks are finished in colours to suit the room, with wood or fabric cladding and step lighting.
Stored flat
Taken down, each platform with its storage caps is only approx. 95 mm high – the grandstand fits stacked into the equipment room.

A mobile BÜTEC grandstand is a system of tested single parts. That makes it adaptable, extendable and compatible with the whole platform accessory range.
Platforms
Aluminium frames from 50 × 50 cm to 200 × 100 cm, 90 mm frame height, decks from beech and film-faced plywood to parquet or carpet.
Heights
Up to 1.2 m build height without diagonal bracing, above that with diagonal braces. For the classic theatre rake there are the Master and Giga frame systems with a 16 2/3 cm frame height.
Accessories
Railings, stairs, claddings, step lights and ramps come from the BÜTEC platform accessory range – made for exactly these platforms.

How fast is a mobile grandstand set up?
That depends on size, height and shape – we plan the set-up and the crew with you. If the grandstand is set up and taken down several times a week, look at the Push'n Pull: there, one person pulls out a block with 10 rows in five minutes.
Is a grandstand made of platforms safe enough for an audience?
The Standard and Compact platforms carry 750 kg/m² and are TÜV GS-tested with a 1.7 safety factor. There are TÜV inspection books for grandstands indoors and outdoors. Which documents your event needs depends on your local building and venue regulations – we agree the structural calculations and documents with you.
How high can the grandstand be?
Up to 1.2 m build height without diagonal bracing. We build higher grandstands with diagonal braces, and from 160 cm also with infill panels.
Which seats are possible?
Seat shells, stacking chairs, benches or theatre chairs. Without seats, you use the grandstand as a standing terrace. See all seating options.
