The whole room from one factory
Floor, platforms, stage, seating, curtains, acoustics, trusses and roof. You coordinate with one manufacturer instead of many trades – and everything fits together, because it is built on the same platform systems.
Designed and welded in house
Our own CAD design team, a certified aluminium welding and special-construction department, CNC machining up to 6 m length. Special sizes for columns, curves or listed buildings are made where the series is built.
Tested before it reaches you
TÜV Rheinland tests the plug-in leg platforms under the German Product Safety Act, and production is monitored regularly: 750 kg/m² with a 1.7 safety factor. At the Volkshaus Jena, an expert inspector and a structural engineer carried out the acceptance in house – which made the process simpler.
Serviced by the manufacturer
Our own service technicians come in a service vehicle with the most common spare parts on board. Spare parts are available even for platforms made before 1995.

Historic gasworks A two-storey grandstand in just under 10 weeks
The premiere was sold out when the first drawings were made with the architect. The heritage condition: no anchoring, no intervention in the building. This is how it went.
Design with the architect
Made to measure for a listed gasworks built on a curve. Planning and structural calculations by BÜTEC.
Production from the system
Compact platforms and Compact aluminium railings, steel columns with base plates made to measure, four-point trusses with special adapters, stairs and fabric skirting.
Phase 1
A trapezoid front grandstand up to 4.60 m high with integrated FOH positions, next to it a stage plateau of approx. 250 m² with full headroom underneath for catering.
Phase 2
An upper grandstand on top, almost 8 m high in total, reached by integrated stairs from the inside. Finished on time for the premiere.

About the manufacturer What buyers and planners want to know
Is BÜTEC a manufacturer or a dealer?
A manufacturer. Design, production, installation and servicing are done in house, on over 10,000 m² of production space in Mettmann, Germany. Dealers and resellers have their own dealer area.
Will we still get spare parts in twenty years?
Long-term spare parts supply for platforms, trusses and more is one of our quality features. One example: for plug-in leg platforms, spare parts are available even for leg corners made before 1995.
Who supplies structural calculations and the inspection book?
We do. For complete systems – stages over 75 m², indoor and outdoor grandstands, roofs – we supply structural calculations and an inspection book. Which certificates your local building regulations require, we clarify with you and your inspector.
How do I recognise original BÜTEC parts?
By the BÜTEC logo on the parts. Use only certified original parts – with other makers' parts, the operating permit and warranty claims expire.
Do you deliver and install outside Germany?
Yes. Our team plans, produces, delivers and installs projects worldwide, and BÜTEC works with representatives and distributors in Europe and many other countries. Servo Stage alone is in use in places such as Los Angeles, Australia, Turkey, Spain and the Netherlands.
