BÜTEC Gable Roofs

The gable roof is the classic shape for stage, stand and market. It is built from 4-point and 3-point trusses, and the front crossbar is a 4-point truss – the ideal place for your stage lighting. With a hoist, you assemble the roof on the ground and then raise it.

  • Protection from rain and sun

    For stage, grandstand, control position, presentation and market stand, entrance or smoking area.

  • Lighting right at the front

    The front crossbar is a 4-point aluminium truss and is ideal for mounting the stage lighting.

  • Assembly on the ground

    In the version with hoist, the roof beams are mounted on sleeve blocks, and the roof is raised with a winch, chain hoist or motor.

How it is built

From the BÜTEC truss system Towers, beams and tarpaulins that fit together

  • Structure

    Full aluminium of 4-point and 3-point trusses, designed to the requirements of DIN 4112 or DIN EN 13814 and DIN 1055.

  • Stability

    The towers are ballasted with water tanks or on precast concrete elements, or anchored with impact dowels.

  • Tarpaulins

    PVC or gauze tarpaulins in RAL colours, side tarpaulins in rails that open quickly when the wind gets stronger, flame-retardant to B1 (DIN 4102) on request.

What sizes does the gable roof come in?

In different sizes. We define the span and depth to suit your stage or stand.

What do I need the hoist for?

With a hoist, the roof is assembled at working height and then raised with a hand winch, chain hoist or motor. Nobody has to work at height. Which winch fits depends on the weight and size of the roof.

What documents come with the roof?

Up to 5 m high we deliver the roof with proof of stability, from 5 m high with a TÜV inspection book.

How much lighting can I hang at the front?

The permitted loads depend on the size and version of your roof and are stated in its documents. Tell us your equipment, and we design the roof for it.

How large is your stage? We plan the gable roof for it
