The F44 has the largest profile in the BÜTEC system: four 50 mm chord tubes on 398 × 398 mm, segments up to 5 m, circles from 2 to 12 m. It spans medium distances; as F44 HD with 48 × 3 mm chord tubes it is designed for higher loads. It combines with F42 and F43.

  • Capacity on paper

    Its own load table for spans of 2 to 14 m, prepared taking DIN EN 13814 (temporary structures) into account. Structural calculations available, tested to Eurocode 9.

    Conical connectors, truss pins and spring cotters for the F4x size class; according to the catalogue, the conical euro connection is compatible with various systems from other manufacturers.

  • F44 HD for higher loads

    The F44 HD has 48 × 3 mm chord tubes instead of 50 × 2 mm and its own data sheet with load table.

    Besides straights and corners, the F44 is available as circles from 2 to 12 m.

Questions about truss F44

How much does the F44 carry at my span?

That is in the load table above and in the data sheet: for spans of 2 to 14 m, the permitted uniformly distributed load, the centre point load and the third-point load, each with deflection. The F44 HD has its own data sheet. For your specific construction with load points, suspension or towers, we prepare structural calculations on request.

Does the F44 fit trusses from other makers?

The F44 is joined with a conical euro connection. According to the BÜTEC catalogue, this connection is compatible with various systems from other manufacturers; bolted connections are also possible. Tell us the maker and type of your stock and we will check the fit.

When do I need the F44 HD?

The F44 HD has 48 × 3 mm chord tubes instead of 50 × 2 mm and is designed for higher loads. Outer size and bracing are the same as the F44. Which version you need shows when you compare both data sheets at your span – or ask us.

Can the F44 be combined with F42 and F43?

Yes, according to the manufacturer the F44 combines with the F42 and F43 systems. Connectors and spacers exist for the whole F4x size class (F42, F43, F44).
