Floor protection Protect 280 m² of hall protection on one trolley, no adhesive
Protect covers sports and hall floors when people eat, celebrate and walk in street shoes. The 2 × 1 m tiles roll into the hall on a trolley and are laid loose, edge to edge. Their own weight and the non-slip back keep them in place. After the event they go back on the trolley and leave no residue.

Tiles instead of carpet rolls Why the hall floor is covered faster
Anyone can move them
Heavy, bulky carpet rolls need many hands. The tiles travel through the hall on an easy-running trolley and are taken off one at a time.
Lies flat without adhesive
The tiles are laid edge to edge and settle quickly under their own weight. At room temperature they adapt to the floor below. No long bending down.
No residue
The environmentally friendly, colour-neutral backing leaves no marks or scuff lines on the sports floor when the tiles are taken up.
Holds back spilt drinks
The special backing stops the tiles from slipping and reduces how much of a spilt drink seeps through to the floor.
Replace just 2 m²
If a tile gets wet, dirty or damaged, you replace exactly those 2 m². With carpet rolls it would be the whole length.
Quieter and more comfortable
The covering reduces impact sound and is antistatic. Once laid, the hall looks fully carpeted; the joints are hardly visible.

Roll the trolley into the hall
One transport and storage trolley carries about 140 tiles, which covers 280 m² of hall floor.
Lay edge to edge
Take a tile and lay it tight against the last one. No adhesive or fixing is needed.
Let the tiles settle
Their own weight and the room temperature lay the tiles flat on the floor. Then set up tables, chairs, decoration and stage.
Take up and clean
Stack the tiles back on the trolley. Clean with a vacuum cleaner; use foam cleaner for heavier stains.

Questions about the floor protection
Protect or Protect Strong: what is the difference?
Protect Strong is thicker (6.8 mm) and heavier (3.49 kg/m²) than Protect (5.6 mm, 3.18 kg/m²). Format, fire rating and laying are the same. The colour ranges differ.
Does it slip on a smooth sports floor?
The backing is non-slip and stops the tiles from moving. Together with the weight of the tiles, the covering stays in place without adhesive.
How is the covering cleaned?
Like a hard-wearing carpet, with a vacuum cleaner. Heavier dirt comes off with foam cleaner. The mottled needle fleece does not show dirt easily. Replace a tile that is very dirty.
Can I use it on the stage too?
Yes, as a carpet layer on stage platforms and grandstands. If platforms should carry a carpet surface permanently, choose the needle felt deck.
Are there special colours?
Yes, for areas of 2,000 m² or more.
