On the market square, in the assembly hall, on the restaurant terrace or as a show stage on wheels: BÜTEC delivers not single parts but the finished stage – with legs, railing, stairs and, if you need it, a roof. Everything stands on a platform system designed for 750 kg/m² and in use since 1979.

Too few hands
Set-up in the morning, take-down after midnight – with the caretaker, temporary helpers and volunteers. Every task the stage does not do by itself costs staff hours.
The ground is not level
A kerb, a lawn, a slope, a column in the middle of the hall: a standard stage rarely fits the space you really have.
Weather and liability
Outdoors there is no roof; indoors the inspector asks for documents. Every improvised solution on stage is a risk you are responsible for.
Afterwards it must all go
After the last applause, the hall must be clear quickly – without scratches on the floor and without the stage overfilling the store room.
That is why we do not sell a stage from the catalogue, but the stage for your situation – built from a platform system made for exactly this since 1979.

How it works

Open-air stage, restaurant terrace, rollable stage or built-in stage in the hall: almost every BÜTEC stage is assembled from our own platform series. What differs is the mechanism underneath – and it does the heavy work.
Tested basic elements
The 2 × 1 m platforms are designed for 750 kg/m² and tested with a 1.7 safety factor. Railings hold horizontal loads of up to 200 kg.
Mechanics instead of muscle
Telescopic legs level uneven ground steplessly. Rolling chassis move whole stages. Gas springs lift the Servo Stage without power. On the stage trailer, a hydraulic system raises the roof.
Fittings without drilling
Compact platforms have standard threads at the corners. Railings, claddings and technical equipment are screwed on – the surface stays undamaged.
Bought once, built many ways
With plug-in or telescopic legs, the platforms can later be rebuilt into other stages, grandstands or rollable stages. Spare parts are available even for platforms from the 1990s.

Can our own staff set up the stage?
For mobile stages, yes: the legs are clamped into the platform corners by handwheel, without tools, and the platforms are clamped together row by row. The stage trailer is made to be set up by one person in 30 minutes, and 4–6 people move the rollable stage. For large or permanent installations, the BÜTEC assembly team does the work on request.
What documents come with the stage?
The platforms are designed for 750 kg/m² and tested with a 1.7 safety factor. For complete installations we supply structural calculations and TÜV inspection books. Installations that go beyond the assembly instructions are delivered with structural calculations, a construction approval or an inspection book for temporary structures. Which documents your stage needs depends on size, height, how long it stands and your local building and venue regulations – we clarify this during planning.
Can we reuse the platforms we already have?
Often, yes. The Rolltec chassis is compatible with all plug-in leg platforms, and for BÜTEC platforms we supply spare parts back to the 1990s. Tell us the series and the number of your platforms.
Is the stage also available with a roof?
Yes. The Supertruck stage trailer brings its own roof. For all other outdoor stages we build stage roofs as wave, arched, gable or pent roofs – up to 5 m high with proof of stability, from 5 m with an inspection book.
What does a stage cost?
That depends on area, height, ground and equipment. Count not only the purchase price but also the staff hours that every set-up and take-down costs over the years. We prepare a quote for your dimensions. If you already have a quote, we review it in our Quote Check.
