The F43 bridges medium distances: triangular profile 398 × 346 mm, 50 mm chord tubes, segments up to 5 m and circles from 2 to 12 m. As F43 HD with 48 × 3 mm chord tubes it is designed for higher loads. It combines with F42 and F44.

Questions about truss F43

How much does the F43 carry at my span?

That is in the load table above and in the data sheet: for spans of 3 to 14 m, the permitted uniformly distributed load, the centre point load and the third-point load, each with deflection. The F43 HD has its own data sheet. For your specific construction with load points, suspension or towers, we prepare structural calculations on request.

Does the F43 fit trusses from other makers?

The F43 is joined with a conical euro connection. According to the BÜTEC catalogue, this connection is compatible with various systems from other manufacturers; bolted connections are also possible. Tell us the maker and type of your stock and we will check the fit.

When do I need the F43 HD?

The F43 HD has 48 × 3 mm chord tubes instead of 50 × 2 mm and is designed for higher loads. Outer size and bracing are the same as the F43. Which version you need shows when you compare both data sheets at your span – or ask us.

Can the F43 be combined with F42 and F44?

Yes, according to the manufacturer the F43 combines with the F42 and F44 systems. Connectors and spacers exist for the whole F4x size class (F42, F43, F44).
